In my profession of nursing we are required to have continuing education. My parents were teachers and in order to renew their contracts they needed to have college credit hours. Large corporations down to the smallest businesses and voluntary services provide instruction on a regular basis.
Writers fulfill this need at writer’s conferences.
I have attended conferences that cost more, held in fancier settings. They didn’t offer more that what ANWA offers at their conferences. The conference scheduled for February 2010 promises to be the best ever. You won’t want to miss it. Bring your writing friends. Be a sponge and soak it all in. Fill your vessels so that you have more to share. See you there.
