Several ANWA members will be signing books at the Latter Day Cottage in Tucson Thursday January 27th – Saturday January 29th. Our book event will be in conjunction with Living Scriptures visiting the LDS bookstore in Tucson the last week of January, 2011.

The group consists of authors who have banned together to help raise money for cancer research. Today’s cancer researchers are on the verge of life-saving discoveries. But what scientists desperately need are the funds required to mount an all-out assault against cancer. One in three people will develop cancer during their life. 1,529,560 people in the United States will be diagnosed with cancer and more than 7.6 million people around the world will die from cancer in a year. Writers Unite to Fight Cancer has chosen the American Association for Cancer Research( as our charity because of their innovative approach to the battle for our lives. We invite published authors to join our cause. We are planning various fund-raising events in Arizona. Participating authors donate a portion from their book sales at each event to the AACR.
